A storm of changes is brewing on the horizon once again as the time for reshuffling approaches Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)

Mohsin Naqvi has recently assumed the responsibilities of Chairman PCB for three years, and has also been handling the affairs of Chief Minister Punjab these days. However, he is likely to be relieved from there after the general elections.

Moreover, Naqvi had expressed his intention to bring his team to the board a few days ago, and recent developments in this regard have also come to light.

The services of three officers have been obtained on deputation from the Punjab government for a period of two years. These include Lieutenant (Retd) Sohail Ashraf from the Pakistan Administrative Service, along with officers from the Police Service, Irtiza Komail and Zain Asim.

Sources have revealed that there is a possibility of assigning a significant post to Lieutenant (Retd) Sohail Ashraf. The position of CEO is not present in the PCB's constitution. When Najam Sethi returned, the constitution was restored that was amended previously in Ramiz Raja's tenure. Subsequently, CEO Faisal Hasnain was sent to the Special Projects department, and then he resigned.

Now either the constitution will have to be amended or the CEO's post will be given another name such as MD. Salman Naseer, who works as COO, can also be sent to the International Cricket department. The possibility of dismissing several officers has also increased, causing concern among PCB employees. Important decisions could be announced in the coming days.
