Israel took a dig at Mohammad Rizwan’s post for Gaza as they celebrated India’s win over Pakistan in the World Cup clash on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
After scoring a game-changing century against Sri Lanka earlier in the tournament, Rizwan had dedicated his outstanding performance to the residents of Gaza, expressing solidarity amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The official Israeli government account on X, not only celebrated India's success but also took a jab at Pakistan and Rizwan, suggesting that Pakistan could not attribute its victory to Hamas.
The post on X stated, " We are happy that India emerged victorious in the #INDvsPAK match at #CWC23 and that Pakistan was unable to attribute its victory to the terrorists of #Hamas," conveying a sense of satisfaction over Pakistan's loss.
