Despite numerous efforts, the establishment of a representative organization for cricketers in Pakistan has hit another roadblock, resulting in yet another failure.

According to the details, there have been several attempts to form a representative organization for cricketers in Pakistan, but there was no success.

Recently, a top official from the International Federation of Cricketers' Associations (FICA) also stated that if Pakistan cricketers establish an association, they will receive complete support. However, a recent effort in this regard was unsuccessful.

Some Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises officials and a former PCB official were ready to take up top positions but demanded a 30% share in contracts, which led to the matter not progressing. They had even contacted FICA, where a positive response was received.

A former Test captain was providing them with advice, but the deal eventually fell through.

At present, the agents of the players are safeguarding their interests, and negotiations for a central contract are also being conducted through them.

The PCB has neither supported nor opposed players' associations in the past, but due to a lack of consensus among the players themselves, no progress has been made.

One cricketer has suggested that there should be a representative organization for players in Pakistan, affiliated with FICA, but unfortunately, there is a fear that if such an organization is formed, it may lead to conflicts with the PCB.

However, there is no dishonesty in this suggestion. The efforts will continue, and perhaps there might be some success in the future.
