ZimAfro T10 League: Hafeez's deadly bowling spell stun Bulawayo Braves

Former Pakistan captain, Mohammad Hafeez, stole the spotlight in the inaugural season of the ZimAfro T10 league 2023. 

Representing the Joburg Buffaloes, Hafeez showcased a mesmerizing display of bowling in a thrilling match against the Bulawayo Braves on Friday.

Batting first, Buffaloes managed to put up a competitive total of 105 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the first innings. However, it was Hafeez's bowling prowess that turned the game on its head.

When the opposition side, the Bulawayo Braves, came out to bat, they seemed to be getting off to a solid start, reaching 32 runs for the loss of one wicket within the first three overs. But, it was at this moment that the all-rounder decided to take matters into his own hands.

In a sensational display of bowling, the all-rounder took three wickets in a single over, dismissing key batters Sikandar Raza (1), Thisara Perera (0), and Timycen Maruma (0).

The 42-year-old continued his magic as he bowled with tremendous accuracy and skill, securing three more wickets, which included the dismissals of Ryan Burl (16), Tymal Mills (0), and Tanunurwa Makoni (0).

Hafeez's spell was nothing short of remarkable as he astoundingly clinched 6 wickets for just 4 runs in a mere two overs, single-handedly securing a resounding victory for his team by 10 runs.
