Islamabad United all-rounder, Faheem Ashraf, created history in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 by smashing a blistering knock to lead his side towards an incredible last-over victory against Multan Sultans at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

With this inning composed by Faheem, United becomes the only team to make 18 plus runs off the final over to win a match in the PSL. No other team has made these many runs in the last over while chasing.

United Army has also made another record in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by completing their highest-ever successful chase in franchise history. They chased down 206 runs after losing eight wickets with one delivery remaining in the inning.

Skipper Shadab Khan, maintained his team's position as he played an aggressive inning of 25-ball 41 runs, including three fours and three massive sixes.

On the other hand, the 29-year-old Faheem, led his team towards an unthinkable victory thanks to his match-winning innings of 26-ball 51 runs with five fours and two massive sixes.

With this victory, Islamabad United have successfully maneuvered their way to the second position on the Pakistan Super League points table.
