Pakistan's Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has confirmed that Pakistan's limited-overs series against Australia will be shifted to Lahore.

The decision has been taken due to the ongoing feud between the sitting Prime Minister Imran Khan and the rest of the opposition.

Khan is set to face a no-confidence vote next week, which has the potential to offset the balance within the twin cities.

If any conflict-like situation arises, the chances of it impacting the tour of Australia remain huge especially due to the location of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Earlier, a PCB official said: "All the four white-ball matches will be shifted to Gaddafi Stadium where teams are set to play the final Test of the series starting from March 21 in case the political situation in Islamabad stays the same till March 20."

Both teams are currently already present in Lahore to play the deciding Test match at Gaddafi Stadium.

Sources confirmed that remainder of the Australia's white-ball team members will arrive in Lahore by March 24.
