Financial Aid Request: CM Balochistan pleads helplessness
The group also requested CM to ensure appropriate entry arrangements for disabled people in all government buildings
QUETTA:
Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, pleaded helplessness in providing financial aid for Hajira who is a blood cancer patient. A delegation of Civil Society Balochistan called on CM on Friday to ask for help in treatment of Hajira, a 13-year-old patient from Kharan suffering from acute myeloid leukemia, a type of blood cancer with extremely costly treatment. CM Balochistan told the Civil Society delegation that he has consumed his discretionary fund and therefore he has no funds to finance treatment of Hajira. Members of Quetta Online Volunteers Group including Zia Khan, Riaz Hussain and Jehangir Tareen also accompanied the Civil Society Balochistan delegation. The group also requested CM Balochistan to ensure appropriate entry arrangements for disabled people in all government buildings.
