Be smart: Anti-smoking seminar and walk held at NTU

The National Textile University (NTU) arranged a seminar on Tuesday to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and using narcotics. The participants of the seminar later held an awareness walk. Anti-Narcotics Force Regional Director Kashif Mushtaq and NTU Rector Arshad Ali were chief guests. Ali said a lot of smokers started young and later started using narcotics. He said smoking and using narcotics was strictly banned at the National Textile University campus. “Our staff holds routine checks and students found smoking are fined Rs1,000.”
