Reckless driving: Four dead, one injured in separate road accidents

Two people died in a road accident in Sarai Gambila, Lakki Marwat on Wednesday

At least four people died while one person was injured in separate road accidents in Haripur and Lakki Marwat on Wednesday.


A police official told The Express Tribune the incident took place on GT Road near Model Town. “Two men were travelling to Haripur on a motorcycle when a van rammed into their vehicle,” he said. “One of them died on the spot, while the other suffered a head injury.” According to the official, the wounded was rushed to Women and Children Hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way to the facility. “Naeem, who was driving the van, was also injured.” The deceased have been identified as Wasim Malik and Sajid Wazir.


In a separate incident, two people died in a road accident in Sarai Gambila, Lakki Marwat on Wednesday. According to a police report, a passenger bus en route to Karachi rammed into a rickshaw. As a result, Sala Gulo Khan, 50, and Sadiq, 35, died on the spot.
