Public health: ‘Hospitals equipped to deal with dengue fever’
Patients urged to avoid quacks, home remedies
LAHORE:
Adequate facilities are available at public hospitals to treat dengue fever patients, a spokesman for the Health Department said on Sunday. The spokesman urged dengue fever patients against visiting quacks and resorting to home remedies. “The patients should immediately visit government hospitals for proper treatment.” He said the government had made appropriate arrangements to prevent worsening of the dengue fever outbreak in the province. Dengue fever cases have been reported this year in Rawalpindi and Multan districts.
