Martyred policemen: Balochistan offers Rs2m compensation

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has announced compensation of Rs2 million for the family of each martyr police personnel of Chaman incident.


He announced this during a meeting with MNA, Abdul Qahaar Wadan and Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Hamid Khan Achakzai who called on him, here on Wednesday.


He also announced compensation for the passerby of Chaman incident. On the occasion, he said that terrorists would be brought to justice and added that the government would not leave the families of the martyrs, alone. “We will continue our efforts to restore durable peace in Balochistan,” he said.


Two policemen Abdullah and Safar Muhammad were patrolling on a motorcycle on Boghara Raod in Chaman when unknown armed men opened fired at them and fled from the scene.
