Academic records: AIOU students to get updated through texts, email

ISLAMABAD:

Students of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will receive quick information about progress on their proposed amendments in academic records, including names, addresses and selected courses.

Acceptance of requests for a particular change will be communicated to the students through emails and text messages as soon as it is incorporated in the academic record. The records will also be updated on the university website. The current practice of communicating the information using regular post will also continue.

Same information will also be passed on to the relevant regional offices. For this purpose, the students in the request form, available at the university’s website, will be required to give their mobile phone number and an email address.
