Ordering the immediate suspension of DCO Jhelum, DCO Attock, EDO Health Jhelum, EDO Health Attock, EDO Education Jhelum, EDO Education Attock and TMOs of both districts for the negligence during anti-dengue spays at school, the chief minister said the samples of anti-dengue spray used in both the schools will also be sent to a laboratory abroad for chemical analysis after being examined in the country.
On Thursday, almost 150 students of a government girls high school in Jand tehsil fell unconscious due to an anti-dengue spray at the school when the 1,334-student school was in session. While in a similar incident over 60 had fallen unconscious at Girls High School Domaili in District Jhelum on Friday.

Furthermore, police has also taken into custody the headmistress of Girls High School Domaili in district Jehlum where students fell sick and were admitted to the hospital after an anti-dengue spray was carried out.
Secretary Health Jawad Rafique Malik confirmed that headmistress was taken into custody on Saturday along with the guard and owner of the shop who provided the chemical spray.
Malik said 42 students were admitted in DHQ hospital Jehlum and 20 in Rural Health Center Domaili, adding that treatment facilities were being provided to all the affected girls.
The secretary said that the chemical used in the spray was not approved by the Health Department due to which female students of the school were affected.
