An additional district and sessions judge has fixed August 31 for arguments in a petition seeking action against a man for allegedly sexually abusing his younger brother.
Earlier, the counsel for the suspect submitted his power of attorney in the court. In his comments submitted with the court at a previous hearing, the Masti Gate SHO had said that based on his investigation it appeared that the petitioner was framing the charges against his elder brother. He had said that the petitioner recently sold his house to the suspect. It seemed he was now blackmailing him into returning the property. The petitioner had accused his elder brother of sexually abusing him and threatening him with dire consequences if he approached police with a complaint.
