If I were Katrina, my new year resolution would be to marry Ranbir: Deepika

Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have always made headlines for their relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. While people might think they hold grudges against each other, recent reports state otherwise.

Previously, the two restricted to comment on each other's personal lives but with passing years, they have become cordial to each other -- at least in public. Deepika seems to have moved on from her former beau as she initiated a series of friendly relations with Ranbir's current girlfriend.

Earlier in January, Deepika made a statement at Star Guild Awards saying, "If I were Katrina, my New Year resolution would be to marry Ranbir," reported Pinkvilla.

After that, the two have been quite vocal about their on and off screen chemistry with Ranbir. They were often reported praising and supporting each other.

"I am not going to speak about my personal life. Recently, there was an article that we (Katrina and Deepika) were in the same hotel or something. That is okay, we are colleagues and there is no animosity between me or anyone in the film industry," said Katrina at India Today Conclave.

Deepika also commented on Katrina's Cannes debut saying, "It's a huge platform and I am extremely proud of Katrina, Sonam, Aishwarya and everyone there. Hopefully, one day I will also be able to make it there," reported NDTV.

The actress also didn't mind when Ranbir and Kat were unable to attend her film Piku success party. She said, "I also invited Ranbir and Katrina but I can understand them not wanting to party since I've gone through similar phases in my career," reported Mumbai Mirror.

When asked about who look better with Ranbir, Kat smartly answered saying, "Deepika is a great actress, will make a great pair with anyone, any male actor she is paired with. I think I make a great pair with Ranbir and Ranveer also," reported DNA.

As these two are finally on good terms now, we believe the will soon turn out to be Bollywood's new best friends.
