Boosting national economy: TDAP chief stresses on role of IT sector

Pakistan Computer Association Chairman Munawar Iqbal said as he highlighted various issues being faced by the sector

ISLAMABAD: The government is open to supporting and facilitating the computer and Information Technology (IT) industry and consider their suggestions while formulating new policies. Trade Development Authority Pakistan (TDAP) Chief Executive SM Munir said the business community related to the IT and technology sectors needed to take new initiatives. “Developing the computer and IT industry is imperative to strengthen the overall economic growth and sustainability in the country.” Pakistan Computer Association (PCA) Chairman Munawar Iqbal said as he highlighted various issues being faced by the sector. “Pakistan has huge potential to boost the industry as well as our national exports in the sector.”
