LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has reserved the verdict on a petition seeking a ban on the screening of an Indian Film, Phantom, in Pakistan. Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan took up the petition filed by Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed. Saeed’s lawyer AK Dogar told the court the movie sought to challenge the integrity of Pakistan. The film also targeted Saeed, he said. The federal government has said earlier it has not received any application for the film’s exhibition and that a no-objection certificate could not be issued until such an application was received.
