Pakistan wants result-oriented dialogue with India: Aziz

Pakistan reaffirmed on Friday that it wants result-oriented dialogue with India on all issues of mutual concern including the core issue of Kashmir, Radio Pakistan reported.

During the 22nd Ministerial Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said, "Pakistan pursues a policy of good neighbourly relations."

"Our valiant forces are successfully demolishing the terrorist infrastructure across the country," he added.

Commenting on the current political situation in Afghanistan, the adviser reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to the Afghan peace process and reiterated its belief in an Afghan-led and Afghan-owed peace process.

During a meeting with Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan, Tadamichi Yamamoto, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi on Monday also expressed confidence that talks with Taliban would soon resume.

Further, he expressed deep concern for the increasing threats to regional peace and stability in the Middle East and requested all members of ASEAN to support Pakistan's case for Full Dialogue Partnership.

khan | 9 years ago | Reply Mr. Aziz you might be an expert accountant but unfortunately your pushed into diplomacy - we know its not fair, but for you to continue in this unknown field is not fair with the country and nation, please leave this position and go back to your original experties. If you advise and push to attend NSA meeting by India then kindly, avoid any press release what so ever. Better find excuse and prepare UN meeting, otherwise, Indian will chew you again and spit you again like bital nut, as they did in USSR.

Are you even sure if your country is democratic or Dictatorial? Your comment seems to say that Modi should meet your country's dictators and not the PM nawaz sharif
