Quaid Trophy: HBL’s woes increased

KARACHI: As HBL suffered a heavy defeat, there was more bad news for the team as Pakistan-reject Imran Farhat was fined Rs 5,000 by the match referee for showing dissent at the umpire. Farhat was adjudged caught at slip by umpire Saleem Badar and following his displeasure, he was fined by Musaddaque Rasool who also issued a warning to Farhat’s teammates Kamran Hussain and Khaqan Arsal.

Meanwhile, HBL team officials were not happy with the standard of umpiring and decided to lodge an official complaint with the Pakistan Cricket Board Domestic Committee.
