Shoania saga: police threatens to withdraw security

LAHORE: Lahore Police have warned Shoaib Malik of withdrawing all security blaming a local hotel and the cricketer of not cooperating over security during walima reception.

SP civil line Haider Ashraf said Shoaib Malik left the hotel premises a few times without informing the police. He added that police officals have written two letters one addresing the hotel administration and other one to the cricketer in this regard.

Haider Ashraf stressed that in case of any untoward incident both the administation and Malik will be held accountable.

Venky | 14 years ago | Reply I agree with the earlier comments. Is there any one from India or from Pakistan who can tell the name of major tournaments won by Sania Mirza. My suggestion to media is, there are lot issues in the world except Sania and Shoib. Just ignore them.

anil | 14 years ago | Reply I agree with both Ali and Waseem. These are two grossly overrated sportspersons, both in pakistan and India. We in India overdid the attention and now Pakistan is doing the same. Just ignore them. See how they start begging the media for attention then. Without media attention third rate sportsperson would simply wither away

waseem | 14 years ago | Reply i think we high rise thise issue more then its demand. As pakistani we cross our limits some times. Sania shows no love for pakistanis, as shoib concerns he also degrade pakistani media. but i thnk both shoib and sani dont know that whole boosted atm is created by pk media. And they must show shows respect against pk media
