Kashmiri woman stripped in public

An Indian Army soldier and four others tore off the clothes of a woman in public in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, The Hindustan Times reported on its website.

"A woman was stripped in full public view by five persons in Jaganoo area of Udhampur. The accused caught the incident on a mobile phone camera... It has gone viral on WhatsApp," Udhampur District Commissioner said.

The woman was intercepted by the gang as she was riding pillion on a motorcycle, he said, adding that when she resisted, the accused overpowered her and stripped her publicly.

Police have registered a case and have started its investigation, claiming to have arrested three persons.
