DI KHAN:

Minister for Agriculture Ikramullah Gandapur has written a letter to fellow PTI member Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, saying government institutions in his area of Kulachi have failed to deliver services to the public.

According to insiders, the minister’s letter says he would be most grateful if the “provincial government takes action for the betterment of his underdeveloped constituency in DI Khan". Through a letter sent to the CM and K-P chief secretary, Gandapur asked a committed assistant commissioner be deployed who finds solutions to public problems.

The letter reportedly stated that Kulachi Hospital lacked basic facilities, doctors (both men and women) and paramedical staff. The PTI leader pointed out there was no staff on regular duty, let alone for emergency services. He stressed instruments and equipment for treatment and medicines were missing at the hospital.

The minister also expressed his concern over the law and order situation, saying the writ of the government was weakening in Kulachi.
