A traffic plan for Murree has been finalised to facilitate tourists and avoid seasonal gridlocks at the hill station.
City Traffic Officer Shoaib Janbaz on Tuesday said 325 officials have been deployed in Murree and urged tourists to observe traffic rules.
The entry of heavy vehicles will be banned while Mall Road, GPO Chowk, Kashmir Point, View Fouth, Bank Road, Hall Road and Imtiaz Shaheed Road will be closed from 8am to noon for vans, coasters and similar vehicles.
One-way traffic will be allowed from Guldana road to GPO, Bank Road to Kashmir Point, Hall Road, Kashmir Point, Bagh Shahidan, Cecil Road, Dilkusha Road and View Fourth Road towards GPO road.
The plan will be implemented till September 15, he said.
