Bloody dispute: Two killed, three injured

The political administration registered a case and started investigating

PARACHINAR: At least two people were killed and three others injured as a result of armed clashes between two rival families in College Colony in Parachinar, Kurram Agency on Tuesday. Officials in the political administration said members of the two families opened fire at each other over a minor dispute. As a result, two brothers Arbab Hussain and Sardar Hussain died on the spot while Haider Ali, Muhammad Ali and Asad Ali were injured. They were taken to the Agency Headquarters Hospital. The political administration registered a case and started investigating. Meanwhile, a man indentified as Zaheer Hussain was badly injured when a landmine exploded. The mine was planted by unidentified persons near his house in Badshah Kot, Lower Kurram Agency. Landmines have been a problem in several agencies in the tribal belt.
