The film which will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala will not feature Jacqueline Fernandez.

Bollywood’s favourite bad boy Salman Khan is gearing up for the sequel of his 2014 blockbuster Kick

According to Bollywoodlife.com, Salman will author the script himself and it will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala who also directed Kick. The sequel will take about two-and-a-half years to complete and is expected to release in 2017.

“Salman Khan has got an idea for Kick 2. He himself is writing the film. Kick 2 will come in 2017,” Bollywoodlife quoted Sajid as saying.

Salman will be playing Devil again but this time Sril Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez will be replaced as things recently turned a bit sour between the two stars.

“Sajid and I will work together. There will be no Jacqueline, she has been kicked out. Now we will find someone else,” Salman told media at the recently held AIBA awards in Dubai.

Jacqueline’s response to the statement was rather on a mild note. “Being part of Kick was the most amazing experience in my life and I thank Salman till date for making me a part of the movie. If not in Kick 2, Insha Allah there will be more movies with him. Kick was a huge blessing, so it’s all that I need,” said Jacqueline, according to a report published by India TV.

The news about making of the sequel and Jacqueline-Salman’s discord has already stirred a lot of guesses regarding the casting of Kick 2.

We wonder if Salman will be introducing any new faces raising them to the zenith of stardom, sticking to his predictably traditional pattern or he’ll be making his pick from within the Bollywood town of beauties. And if we would get to experience Nawazuddin Siddiqu’s on-screen eccentricities and Randeep Hoda’s cynicism or they too would be replaced?

Currently, Salman Khan is promoting his movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo also in the pipeline.
