RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi. Teachers of public schools on Thursday protested against new policy of the Punjab Examination Commission according to which a student has to re-appear in all the papers even if they fail in one subject only.

Punjab Teachers Union took out a rally from Rawalpindi Press Club to the office of executive district officer (EDO) education.

They termed the new policy a conspiracy against teachers.

The protesters staged a sit-in and blocked Murree Road in front of the EDO office. They also protested against the possible action against teachers on the basis of poor results.
