Possession of liquor: Pre-arrest bail filed 22 years after FIR

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday summoned a complainant and police record on a pre-arrest bail filed by a man 22 years after an FIR had been registered against him for carrying liquor. Nazeer Ahmed told the court he had been implicated in the case to be blackmailed. Johar Town police submitted in the FIR they had arrested him at a picket on September 12, 1993, and seized liquor from him.
