PESHAWAR: Dozens of local leaders from Hangu district joined Awami National Party in a ceremony at Bacha Khan Markaz on Sunday. “The joining of such a large number of people is proof of the party’s popularity in the province,” said ANP Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Amir Haider Khan Hoti who was the chief guest on the occasion.

He said the party has always raised its voice for the sake of public interest. “The present government has added to the people’s problems instead of providing them relief,” he added.

Those who joined the party include the brother of Senator Aurangzeb from Hangu, Syed Husaini, Sher Nawaz, Adil Bacha, Haji Zar Muhammad, Malik Abdur Rahman and Malik Ismail.
