Twin drone strikes kills 8 in North Waziristan

Drone fires two missiles at house in Khesur area of Mir Ali tehsil in North Waziristan.

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Two drone strike killed eight people and injured two others in the Mir Ali tehsil of North Waziristan on Monday evening.

According to Express correspondent Iftikhar Firdous, the first drone fired two missiles at a house in Khesur area in the region which killed three people.

Local administration believes more people might be stuck under rubble of the building.

The second drone strike targeted a car which resulted in killing five more people

Mir Ali is known to be inhabited by members of certain militant organisations, and drone strikes in the region are on the rise.
