Former minister's son Mustafa Kanjo had allegedly opened fire on a vehicle near Cavalry Ground area which led to the killing of teenager and a pedestrian being injured. He was arrested and produced before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore today (April 3).

The ATC granted eight-day physical remand to Mustafa and four of his guards who were also arrested by Lahore police following the incident.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till April 11.
According to initial reports, Zain was shot dead using Mustafa's Kalashnikov.
On Thursday, the family of the deceased had also reportedly received death threats for taking action against Mustafa.
“The killers of my son should be executed,” the mother of the teenager said. She also appealed to the prime minister for help.
In order to find evidence, police also conducted a postmortem examination on the body of the deceased.
The DIG said he had requested the authorities to put Mustafa’s name on the Exit Control list.
