Nargis Fakhri stuns at Lakme Fashion Week

The actress walked the ramp on the fourth day of LFW

Even though the fourth day of the Lakme Fashion Week was a star-studded event, it was Suneet Varma’s collection that took the cake as showstopper Nargis Fakhri dazzled the audience in his stunning design.

Wearing a crystal encrusted red bridal outfit with intricate gold work, Nargis gracefully walked the runway and left the crowd in awe.

Suneet Varma’s bridal collection, titled 'Decorative Arts of India', was a fancy display of colours inspired by the traditional motifs and crafts of Southwest Indian states. He used a variety of fabrics and embroidery designs to achieve a traditional and modern look for his lehenga cholis.

The actress was all praises for the designer as the show ended. "He is one of the best designers of the Indian fashion industry and wearing his clothes has just made me feel like a queen,” said the excited star.

This is not the first time the actress has caused such a riot on the runway. She looked stunning in Shehlaa's off-shoulder sheer dress at last year's LFW and like a glamorous beauty when she modeled Ritu Kumar's design at the LFW 2013.
