Speaking to the media persons here, Shah said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), despite gaining majority in the Sindh Assembly, opted for a coalition government in the interest of democracy. He said the ongoing Karachi operation was launched with consultations of all political parties and none of them is particularly being targeted.
Commenting on the resolution of PTI-government deadlock, the opposition leader said talks are the only solution to problems. “If sit-in was a workable solution, the problem would not have persisted until now,” he added. However, the unison between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the government over the issue of judicial commission is commendable, he added.
Answering a question on Uzair Baloch, he said the alleged Lyari gang leader is giving statements to take revenge from the party leaders. Uzair ran away to save his life during Lyari Operation, he added. “Pakistan Peoples Party played its part in limiting Uzair Baloch’s criminal activities.”
