KARACHI: According to India's leading newspaper Mumbai Mirror, makers of Indian dance show Nach Baliye 7 are keen to rope in star cricketer Shahid Afridi for the season that starts airing in April.
The makers were close to finalising the signing amount when the batsman suddenly developed cold-feet. The reason being that it finally struck him that the show's format involves couples rocking the dance floor.

"Shahid was ready for a solo act but when told that his wife and he would have to groove together, he was taken aback," a source was quoted in the report as saying.
"He categorically told us that he doesn't want the whole world to see his wife dancing. He turned down the offer saying, 'Biwi ko nahin nachana hai!' Nobody could argue with that as it's a personal call," the source added.
Nach Baliye is a popular dance reality show about 10 real life celebrity couples competing for the trophy.
Afridi is not the only cricketer approached by the show to break into his dance moves. Earlier, Shoaib Malik and wife Sania Mirza rocked the dance floor in Nach Baliye 5.
