FAISALABAD:

Pak-Turk Businessmen Association (PTBA) Secretary General Nida Yilmaz has said that the association’s office will start functioning in Faisalabad shortly.

Yilmaz said this during a presentation at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) on the Tuskon World Trade Bridge 2015 scheduled to be held in Istanbul from March 17 to 18.

According to the secretary general, Pakistan and Turkey have cordial relations and the PTBA office in Faisalabad will provide a link to local businessmen for interaction with international buyers, which will give impetus to trade between the two sides.

Yilmaz said that the objective of PTBA is to enhance exports from Faisalabad by providing easy access to the exporters with other related facilities. “We do business with other countries, but in Pakistan’s case our approach is entirely different,” he said.
