PTA website offers English, Urdu, mobile version, exclusive feature of ‘text to speech’ for people with disabilities.

KARACHI: The official website of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), www.pta.gov.pk, has been nominated in the first Pakistan Web Awards.

The event will be organised by The Xeptionalz and patronised by the ministry of information technology. PTA’s website has an English, Urdu and mobile version along with an exclusive feature of ‘text to speech’ for people with disabilities.

The Xeptionalz chairman Tariq Hussain said that the nomination of the PTA will encourage other sectors to promote the IT sector.

    You’ve got to be kidding me. That website was nominated? What about the other nominees? Why don’t they get a mention here? Recommend

    Good one guys.. :) But think , if they would start mentioning each and every website, who will read the news then.. Having little knowledge of marketing & Media, atleast i am ok with their approach to mention only Giants.. otherwise the purpose of “News” diminishes.. Recommend

    BTW, my 3 corporate websites are also nominated in PWA in different categories. So atleast I can assure that this is not the ONLY nomination Farhan :-)
    I believe it is a good initiative and I am for it.Recommend
