Over a dispute: Suspect confesses to murder

Zubair then dumped the weapon in the area and fled.

KOHAT: A person arrested for allegedly murdering the watchman of a seminary for girls confessed to his crime during investigation on Monday. A press release issued from the public relations department of the Kohat police stated the accused, Muhammad Zubair, killed the watchman, Shaukat, over a dispute. On the day of the murder, the accused followed Shaukat from Mustafa Bazaar and shot him when he reached Jaronda Road, added the statement. Zubair then dumped the weapon in the area and fled. Upon receiving the complaint, police raided the house of the accused and arrested him. During interrogation, Zubair confessed to his crime and informed the police about the place where he had shot the watchman.
