Imran visited Ahmad Nawaz, a student of grade nine, who was shot on the unfateful day of December 16 when Taliban gunmen stormed into an army-run school in Peshawar, killing 150 people, including 132 children.
The 15-year-old is admitted at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) where doctors advised his parents to shift him to another facility as the injuries on his arm could not be treated at LRH and doctors feared Ahmad might lose his limb.
Following this, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved Rs30.6 million for his treatment abroad and Ahmed is being shifted to a hospital in Birmingham.

“PTI officials will receive him and take care of him in Birmingham,” Imran Khan said.
The party chief further added that his wife is in London and is in contact with Ahmad’s father to ensure they face no difficulties.
Earlier, Ahmad’s father lashed out the politician’s indifference and the government's double standards when it came to the treatment of his son and that of Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai.
“Both (Malala and Ahmad) are victims of terror attacks. But my son is still crying for help,” he told The Express Tribune, adding he has also already lost a son and doesn’t have the courage to see another one incapacitated.

Ahmad’s younger brother Haris Nawaz, 14, was not fortunate enough to escape the brazen attack alive.
“He (Ahmad) wakes up after every two hours and starts crying from pain, but the only thing doctors at LRH do is give him painkillers,” complained Muhammad Nawaz. “My son has dreams just like other children. He has a career ahead of him and I will not let these politicians ruin his dreams.”
K-P police training 2,200 personnel
Meanwhil, the PTI chief on Wednesday said that 2,200 police personnel, including women, in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are being trained to eliminate terrorism from the province.
Addressing the passing-out parade ceremony of the Elite Force in Nowshera, Imran lauded the efforts of K-P police, saying they have made unmatched sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
"The province has reported very few cases of terror in 2014," the PTI chief added. Criticising the federal government, Imran said the police department has been training its personnel using its own resources.
Imran praised K-P Inspector General of Police Nasir Durrani and other officers for effectively maintaining law and order in the province. "I am highly impressed by the standards of police training."
