Sector e-12: CDA retrieves 300 kanals

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has retrieved 300 kanals of land in Sector E-12 after a special operation, bringing the total reclaimed land at the sector to 1,200 kanals. An official said now the authority is in a position to construct a service road and also initiate development work in Sector E-12/2. CDA retrieved the land after dialogue and consultation with local elders and numbardars of Dherek, Mohri, Seri Siral and Dhoke Chora villages. The locals supported the operation and fully cooperated with the CDA team. Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal lauded the efforts.
