Three bullet-riddled bodies were found in DI Khan on Thursday, stated a Dera Town police official.
The bodies were found 35 kilometres from DI Khan city, in Shero Kena area of Daraban road which links DI Khan to Zhob in Balochistan, added the police official. The victims were between 30 and 40 years of age. Police have started investigation but the identity of the three deceased men is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, DI Khan police carried out search operations in different parts of the district. Around 29 suspects were rounded up and 30 pistols along with 43 bullets were confiscated from some of them, said a statement issued from the district police officer’s office. One of the people taken into custody was an Afghan refugee who did not have the necessary documents for his stay in Pakistan.
Moreover, around 99 educational institutions were inspected for security measures of which 92 were directed to beef up their arrangements.
