The Sindh government announced compensation on Sunday for all victims killed in the road accident off Super Highway that took place late Saturday night.
The provincial government has also decided to form a committee to probe into the incident. According to a spokesperson for the Chief Minister House, the heirs of each victim will be given Rs0.2 million and strict action will be taken against those found guilty of negligence.
On the other hand, the government has set up a relief camp at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The camps, under the supervision of the South deputy commissioner, will facilitate the families to help identify the bodies of their lost ones and provide food to them.
"The DNA samples would be taken from the parents and siblings to identify the victims who cannot be recognised," said the spokesperson.
