Sources told The Express Tribune that investigators were initially questioning a gardener, a helper in the canteen among two other staff members, they were later included in the investigation on account of being witnesses to the incident.
The witnesses said that the attackers were armed with AK-47 rifles and hand grenades, and were wearing suicide vests. Witnesses further said the attackers conversed in a Pashto dialect usually spoken in Afghanistan.
“The investigation is underway from different angles but it is premature to jump to any conclusion,” the source said.
