Chairman comments all financial powers of BISP lie in hands of secretary while his office was just ceremonial

Bureaucratic hurdles: BISP chairman Enver Baig resigns
ISLAMABAD: Benazir Income Support Programme Chairman Enver Baig resigned from his position. Baig, while talking with The Express Tribune, said he has resigned due to bureaucratic hurdles and the premier has offered him another position in Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation. He said that all financial powers of BISP lie in the hands of secretary while his office was just ceremonial. Bureaucratic obstacles are present everywhere which need serious attention, he added.
