Addressing a PTI rally in Jhelum, Imran said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took the step just when their sit-ins started in August.
The PTI chairman urged the people of Pakistan to work hard for a new Pakistan and stand up and fight for the basic rights of every citizen.
“I’m inviting everybody to Islamabad on November 30. One side will be the status quo, which consists of people who have become rich after coming into power and on the other side, there will be us, the people of Pakistan,” said Imran.
“These powerful rulers won’t bring change in the country and are preparing their children to rule over your children,” he added.
The PTI chief also announced to visit Larkana on Friday. “We will stand with middle class and professional class of Sindh as well as farmers and will break the chain of fear in the people of Sindh,” he said.
Imran went on to say that tax money should be spent on people instead of underpasses, governor houses, and on Prime Minister Nawaz’s foreign trips.
He claimed that the government spends Rs300 million monthly on the ad campaigns.
Imran also alleged that the premier handed over a Rs500 million project to Hanif Abbassi, whom he said is a known drug smuggler. “Abbassi is sitting over a Rs500 million project; he should be in jail,” said Imran.
He vowed to put criminals behinds bars and to reform the current law and order situation.
Earlier in the day, PTI's convoy was attacked in which at least eight PTI workers were injured.

Prove or shut up, period.
@Junaid: We knew about you Junaid.
@Stevenson. I agree with your comments but how do you "vote" out someone who systematically rigs the elections?
The corruption that occurs according to ex NAB Chairman Admiral Fasih Bukhari is Rs 7 billion a day, which is bigger than the total revenues collected by the government. Our budget is then met by massive domestic and international borrowings. The point Imran Khan was making is that if we eliminate corruption especially from the highest levels of government, Pakistan will no longer need to borrow money to support itself.
@Humza: Stop spitting out baseless blames like your leaders.
My friend 'Stevenson' I agree with your sentiment that we should work within the parliamentary norms, unfortunately their are the likes of leaders of JI and others who have a blemished record of corruption and embezzlement. That includes the so called Shariff brothers. What IK is crying foul about is the rigged elections. He had pleaded over and over again to have an independent electoral commission oversee the fraud which allegedly took place. He has been requesting an investigation which has been falling on deaf ears? Surely you understand his frustration. Infact the system, though imperfect is accommodating, because our courts asked for a reexamination of the count in various provinces(incidentally including Lahore, the Shabaz bastion) but none was forthcoming. What do you expect IK to do ? Suffer in agony for another few years in torment. Then wait while Nawaz's, Zardaris sons and daughters are groomed? ( incidentally Nawaz's son already has lucrative multi million investments in projects overseas ) Janab, have some dignity and expect the inevitable. I too, would have liked a slow evolution of our democratic system, but it's high time to realise, that without a revolution nothing might change in our archaic world of Pakistan.
Lies lies and more lies. Can IK do anything other than ilzaams?
For God's sake the nation is at war in NW and Khyber and our soldiers are being martyred. Can we please have harmony and get behind our Prime Minister in this testing time. Thank you all and yes good luck to IK in the next elections. Hopefuly by then you've tranformed into a mature politician who has policies than propaganda against others.
@Azam Hasan: I have also grown up and live in the West. That's why I can never support Imran Khan's behavior. Why can't the average Pakistani understand that it is the system that matters and that democracy is imperfect in every country. Pakistan is only gradually moving to a democratic system after so many years of dictatorship. The nation only recently saw the first peaceful transition of power. Do people not understand that we all should work within the parliamentary system to make change and that things can't be changed overnight with nonsensical dharnas and chanting. PTI should be ashamed of the trouble they have caused for a developing country when the economy, energy, infrastructure and basic needs such as education and health are finally being addressed. The quick fix 3 rd world mentality of overnight change will only turn Pakistan into an Egypt, Libya, Iraq or Syria. Pakistanis deserve better and should expect to better. Learn to work within an imperfect system and try to work for real long term change. The West works to see things improve in 10, 20 50 years. Not chant silly dharnas and disrupt the nation's well being. In the US we are embarrassed by the games of Imran Khan and we were so proud of seeing Nawaz Sharif elected as a PM following the first peaceful transition of power in the nation's history. We can always vote him out in 2018 but please don't make a mockery of the nation on the world stage by these silly dharnas and nonsensical claims of Imran Khan. He has been exposed as someone who is arrogant and only obsessed with power at all costs.
@Omer:
What if it is paid with loan that to be paid over several years.
@Azam Hasan: We'll make NAYA PAKISTAN INSHALLAH...
just nonsense allegations without any evidence
@Omer: Then it was a black lie which is also not very positive. IK should therefore go the supreme court and challenge the credentials of Nawaz Sharif.
Rex Minor
One has to have completely lost their marbles to still be supporting Imran Khan at this point.
This guy keeps coming up with concocted stories -- he should try to get a job -- IDLE MIND IS DEVIL'S WORKSHOP!
Imran is the biggest hurdle in the way towards country's progress. HE is worse than external enemies for Pakistan.
Idiot in chief....
Dear Sirs
Why can't the average person see and feel that what Imran is saying is for the well being of all Pakistanis. I have grown up in the West and have witnessed little change or progress in Pakistan Things remain where they are meaning STATIC. We need multinational companies to invest in our country. Not just rely on China. Not just singing about America either. Unfortunately the Shariffs are like cloned humans devoid of new ideas or creativity . In the UK it is an embarrassment to acknowledge we are Pakistanis simply because outsiders see us as a dependant nation having a begging bowl always asking for handouts from the IMF.( the Shariffs don't realise that this is a burden on our nation with lots of strings attached). Not once have these brothers moved with today's time and said lets look for an alternative like the new world bank created by the BRICS countries.
I urge Pakistani to go for change let IK make you proud.
Lets give it a chance.
meanwhile pervaiz rashid said "PTI outsourcing terrorists". welcome back to the 90s.
We can never forget U Turns of Imran Khan. How can we trust on Imran Khan who is a liar.
@naeem khan: The corruption that occurs according to ex NAB Chairman Admiral Fasih Bukhari is Rs 7 billion a day, which is bigger than the total revenues collected by the government. @naeem khan: You are telling a white lie. Pakistan budget is 3.5 trillionRs. If you add up all the figures quoted by Imran Khan, it is way less than 3.5 trillion.
I am fully with Imran on this one. The PTV attack was clearly done by paid stooges of PMLN, everyone involved was an employee of the company, so it doesn't surprise me Imran made a remark like this. People of Pakistan need to learn that nawaz sharif is corrupt, he is not giving any electricity, and he just handed several allowance notices to arab rulers to kill our bustards!
P.S Kuwait has not allowed Pakistanis to visit since 2008 ( Nizam Nawaz Sharif has just allowed their rulers to come and kill our birds).
One has to salute IK for his resolve. May Allah protect him and Pakistan. I fear the day he looses (if he losses) then we will be stuck with Bilawal, Hamza... fr the rest of your lives. How can some of the Pakistani people be so blind. We love you Imran Khan.
@Kamran: Keep making up figures Imran Khan; No one believes you anymore but we can see that you are unstable. Remember you telling us IK is the biggest investor in Europe with more money than Bill Gates, Malcolm Forbes and everyone in the world. Trying to destabilize the country because you are obsessed with power. Just get back to container and Ro Imran Ro!
Keep your fantasy of NayaPakistan ALIVE, Imran Khan is very much aware of the dangers, yet for Pakistan's purpose, He is eager to go for broke.
Keep your fantasy of #NayaPakistan ALIVE, #IK is very much aware of the dangers, yet for #Pakistan's purpose, He is eager to go for broke.
if we add up all the figures of hundreds of billions of rupees quoted by IK it actuall y exceeds the total budget of pakistan
IK we are with you. My friends and I are going to be in Isloo on 30th Nov. Go Nawaz Goooo
