SAHIWAL: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Saturday that arrest warrant issued against him cannot scare him into holding negotiations with the government.
An anti terrorism court (ATC) on November 12 had issued non- bailable arrest warrants of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, PTI chairman Imran Khan, PTI vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others for attacking Pakistan Television (PTV) building and Parliament during their sit-ins.
Addressing a rally in Sahiwal, the PTI chief asked, "Why would Nawaz Sharif want to have talks with someone who has been declared a wanted man?"
"I would not want to negotiate with someone who is a criminal or a suspect, or someone who is complicit in rigging," Imran said while taking a swipe at the prime minister for allegedly rigging the May 2013 elections.
Regarding Imran's arrest warrant, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said on Friday that he was hopeful of Imran appearing before the court given how he had breached the rule of law.
Rashid also said that if Imran realises his mistakes, he would be welcomed back into Parliament.

Ro Imran Ro !!
Another unprecedented rally! These mammoth crowds in PMLN's so-called home ground surely are giving sleepless nights to the Sharifs, quite evident by the desperate statements of their ministers and the sour comments of their supporters.
@Afaq Ayub: What???? you may like to check the number of your prescription glasses! :-)
@bilal: "..........You have to see how disgusting PMLN supporters are … and how utterly ignorant ........." Looking at your comments and your choice of language, I must say you represent PTI well --- half-literate, unbridled tongue, general no job, and Internet junky!!! Keep it up, and good luck with your perpetual stay in the delusional world!
@Blithe: This is the solution to the corrupt hierarchy that has been looting hard-working Pakistanis since decades.
Good one Imran. Why does NS want to talk with a wanted man? You have to see how disgusting PMLN supporters are ... and how utterly ignorant. PMLN as usual does not know what to do. They have never faced an honest man standing up to them.
So all the forces of status quo are against PTI and cleaner middle-class politics: From Asima Jhangir to Maulana Fazal From Maulanas to left wing atheists
It really seem PTI has emerged as the political party of Pakistan. Way to go PTI!
@Layman: guess who represents the majority of the Pakistani people. Hint: It is not Im the Dim. And if you dont believe it, then you live in the same delusional world of the "Tsunami of support" that Im the Dim lives in.
A staggering, stunning, gigantic and monstrous turn out at Sahiwal. This is truly phenomenal, even by PTI's standards. Awe inspiring!
Incitement to violence yet again - Imran Khan and his friend sheikh Rashid have done more harm to Pakistan than India could ever imagine. Again , bad stage management, gladiators fighting in the circle for girls in front of the Emperor, and incitement to violence galore – what is this?
Khan is a stubborn person. He sacrificed his voters for his ego. 30th November procession could not change course of events. He lost great chance to revolutionize electoral process now he is wasting his energies and party funds. If he had sacrificed his ego and left demand of PM resignation, which he do now, thing would be quite different. I am desperate to see Khan's bad politics.
Keep it up IK!! The whole nation is with you!!
it is now and never, the status co vs the Pakistani people, ANP,PPP,MQM,JUI-f,PMLN all are against PTI, its one against all, this battle has to be won by Pakistani people, this will be the turning point in this nation's history..
come on IK. You are an absconder. You are indeed a criminal as determined by a court of law.
