While speaking at D-Chowk in Islamabad, Imran claimed that the the fund, a donation campaign launched by the PTI to collect funds for its protest demonstrations, had received contributions not only from across Pakistan but also from overseas Pakistanis. The fund will specifically be helpful for the party’s massive sit-in scheduled for November 30 in the federal capital.
“I want to tell Asif Zardari that these funds are from the Pakistani masses,” said the PTI chairman. “Overseas Pakistanis are also collecting funds.”
Imran said a sea of people will take part in November 30’s PTI sit-in, adding that the "actual sit-in" will begin after that and the ongoing demonstration was just a “warm-up”.
PTI rally in Rahim Yar Khan
Meanwhile, PTI vice chairman announced that the party will hold a rally in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday, November 9.
While the party’s district president Rana Raheel claims a permission has been granted to hold a rally at Khawaja Fareed College, local administration had earlier expressed reservations as the area houses the central jail and offices of intelligence agencies.

Look at the picture with this article. Except for the characteristic smirk on the face of the cricketer, all others are carrying ab expression of sheer disgust and dismay at the "so called" helmsman's ficklenesss. The sit ins after Nov. 30 will be a warm up for the sit ins after Dec. 30 and so on till 2018. What an absolute farce. Till when will the "naive few" continue to be befooled by these daily monotonous and duplicious monologues prepared by advisers.
@Chachoo: What's the evidence that the lifestyles of the PTI office bearers have been improved since the dharnas?
If that was the case then PTI would never have been able to collect Rs 50 m. Secondly, the media would have exposed that.
But only Rs 20.1 million for Tameer-e-School (verifiable from project website) on which millions were spent in TV and print ads.
@s malik: You need to free yourself from chains of worshipping Imran Khan who only cares for himself and power. Wasting money instead of helping flood victims or IDPs in FATA. I think Imran Khan is just stubborn and bent on damaging Pakistan because he is obsessed with power at all costs. He has been exposed as a guy who does u turns every other day and has no principles because he is surrounded by Shaikh Rasheed and Chaudries of Gujrat.
Imran Khan is blindly following Jamat e Islami like they used to collect false Jihad e Kashmir fund in the end people stopped giving any money to them same will be Imran Khans fate.
@Chachoo: Don't worry transparency is at place.
PTI has not established any presence in any village of Punjab and Sindh and they have no funds left. Now they are living on a monthly donation. Imran Khan must realize that sooner or later this strategy will fail. People dont like MQM but look at their organization. Their collection system encompass planning for the whole year. While Imran Khan enjoy the day with no long term savings and planning.
I hope Imran Khan will do the audit of all Office bearers of his party as their life styles have been improved tremendously while arranging Dharnas, Shows and meetings.
Long live the Azadi march; long live the dhurna. log live the king Khan. Its about time that the people of Pakistan wake-up and free themselves from the chains of slavery set upon them by the rich jagirdars; the likes of Zardaris and Sharifs.
