Motive unknown: IED explosion leaves minor injured

A six-year-old was severely injured when a bomb planted outside her house went off

HANGU: A six-year-old was severely injured when a bomb planted outside her house in Kach Bhanda area of Hangu city went off on Wednesday. According to the police, unidentified militants had placed a high-intensity improvised explosive device near the house of Akbar Ali. The militants detonated the bomb via remote, destroying the house. Ali’s daughter Habsha Bibi was playing nearby and was injured in the explosion. She was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital, Hangu and was said to be stable after doctors treated her.
