RISALPUR:

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is playing a leading role in delivering a decisive blow to anti-state elements as part of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt said on Wednesday.

“Likewise, PAF has always been a part of national efforts to mitigate the sufferings of our people, whether in the shape of providing relief in times of disaster or supporting our internally displaced brethren,” he said while addressing the graduation ceremony at PAF Academy Risalpur.

“The history of PAF manifests that the airmen have never shied away from any level of sacrifices,” he added.

Butt said PAF has state-of-the-art equipment in its inventory and is well-equipped to defend its aerial frontiers. “With air power fast becoming the future weapon of choice, you must acquire the ability to be able to accept this role with all its manifestations,” he told graduating cadets.
