Asian Games: Pakistan women's cricket team steal win from Thailand

Greenshirts defeat Thai rivals by 51 runs

Pakistan women's cricket team defeated Thailand by 51 runs at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, Express News reported on Wednesday.  

Due to weather conditions, the match was limited to 14 overs as opposed to the usual 20 overs.

In the allotted overs, Pakistan managed to score 97 runs, having lost only five wickets.  Thailand, however, could only make 46 runs before they ran out of overs.

Pakistan play in the 17th Asian Games as defending champions after winning the title back in 2010 in Guangzhou, China.

The squad is led by Sana Mir with Bismah Maroof as her deputy.
