Action finally taken: CM orders party worker arrested for suspected assault

The chief minister was visiting Sial Mor, Sargodha, to ask after flood victims.

The city president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s youth wing was arrested on Tuesday after a resident of Kot Momin told Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif that he was wanted for attempted murder. The chief minister was visiting Sial Mor, Sargodha, to ask after flood victims.


Residents of the area gathered around the chief minister and one of them pointed out PML-N’s Ehsanullah and told Sharif that he had shot at him on July 28. He said he had filed a complaint against Ehsanullah with the Kot Momin police but no action had been taken. Sharif ordered the RPO to arrest the suspect.

Kot Momin DSP Razakar Hussain Shah said Ehsaanullah was a wanted criminal and they had arrested him immediately on the chief minister’s orders. He said there would be legal proceeding against him.

This was a simple move to calm tempers on the spot........nothing will happen to the PML-N worker, he will be commended and possibly promoted.

Murder suspect needs Chief Minister's order to get arrested! Good governance at work again. Is Punjab being run without any laws and systems??
