KARACHI: For the entire month of August, and to mark Pakistan’s 67th Independence Day, The Express Tribune published personal photographs submitted by readers, paying tribute to the country’s formative years.

From the Queen’s visit to the construction of Minar-e-Pakistan, from monochrome images of PAF pilots to the women and men of Radio Pakistan, click on the slides below to see the events that make our history.

The daily series will continue in this space and be updated regularly. You can still submit your photographs to: sanam.maher@tribune.com.pk.
